Corporate Tailoring and Uniform Services Nairobi
Corporate tailoring and uniform services in Nairobi for offices, banks, hotels, restaurants, schools, clinics, security firms and professional services. Bulk staff suit alterations, corporate shirts, uniforms, boots and leather goods all handled on one pickup, one invoice and one delivery, with per-piece corporate pricing from KES 250 and invoiced payment terms available from the second batch onwards. Every batch is tagged per staff member at collection so nothing is mixed up at the workshop, and every batch is altered to a matched standard so the whole team looks consistent rather than each staff member looking like an individual in a matching colour.

Why We Run Corporate Work Differently to Walk-In Clients
A single client bringing one suit to a workshop is a fifteen-minute transaction. A company bringing fifty staff suits to a workshop is a small logistics operation, and if the workshop does not plan for it, pieces get mixed up, staff complain that the alterations are inconsistent, and the client is left with a lot of paperwork for what should have been a simple job. That is the reason corporate batches at FitFix run on a different workflow to general clients, with staff tagging at collection, matched standards across the batch, and per-staff reporting on delivery.
The tagging is the single most important part of the workflow. When we collect from your reception, every garment gets a tag with the staff name or the staff ID you have provided. That tag stays with the garment through the workshop, so a junior associate's suit and a senior partner's suit sitting next to each other on the bench never get mixed up. When we return the batch, we include a per-staff breakdown sheet that lists what was altered on each garment, matched to the staff name or ID. If a staff member has a query about their suit three weeks later, you have a record of exactly what was done and when.
The matched standard is what stops a batch looking uneven. When fifty staff suits are all taken in at the same office and each individual client brings their own preferences to a workshop, the batch ends up looking like fifty separate alterations that happen to have the same colour fabric. That is the wrong outcome for a corporate uniform programme. The correct way to handle a corporate batch is to set one standard for the alterations across the batch, matched to the way the client wants their staff to look, and hold every staff member's suit to that standard. A slightly shorter jacket sleeve on one staff member and a slightly longer sleeve on another is the difference between a professional-looking team and a group of individuals in matching colours.
Per-staff reporting on delivery is what makes an invoiced corporate account work. If a client is being billed per piece and per staff member, the invoice has to show exactly what was done for each person. Our invoices break the batch down by staff name or ID, list the alteration done on each piece and the unit price, and total at the bottom. That means the client's accounts department can reconcile the invoice against the batch without calling us, and the whole thing runs on the first submission. That is the entire reason we prefer per-staff invoicing over a single lump-sum invoice, even though the lump-sum invoice is easier for us to produce.
The one ask we make of every corporate client is a clean staff list before the first pickup. Names, IDs, the pieces per person and any specific requirement per staff member. With that list we can tag the batch correctly the first time, schedule the work in the right sequence, and return the batch on the promised date. Without it, the batch still gets done but the process runs slower because we have to identify pieces on collection, which adds a day or two to the turnaround. The list is a ten-minute job for the client's HR or admin team and it saves a day on our end.
Free Pickup and Delivery Nairobi Scheduled collections from office reception, security desks and estate gates across every Nairobi estate. No minimum order value. See pickup and delivery →Corporate Client Types We Serve
Eight categories of corporate client make up most of our batch work in Nairobi. Each one gets a slightly different service, and it is worth explaining how the work is handled in each case.
1. Offices, banks and professional services
Staff suit alterations, corporate shirt alterations and trouser work for offices, banks, law firms, accounting practices and consultancies. Common requests include new graduate cohorts who all need two suits altered before their first client-facing week, and existing staff who need annual suit alterations as part of a uniform refresh. Bulk suit alterations start from KES 1,500 per suit and corporate shirts from KES 300.
For graduate cohorts we run what we call a "fresh intake" programme. Every graduate is measured on the same day, every suit is altered to the same standard, and the whole cohort picks up their finished suits on one morning so the first day is photographed as a matched team. We have run this programme for law firms, banks and consultancies, and it is the single most common way an office client first contacts us.
2. Hotels, restaurants and hospitality
Front desk uniforms, housekeeping uniforms, kitchen and chef uniforms, restaurant and bar uniforms, spa uniforms and management suits, all altered in matched batches so every shift looks consistent. Hotel and hospitality uniform alterations start from KES 400 per piece. Common contracts run on a recurring monthly pickup to keep uniforms in service as staff come and go.
The biggest challenge in hospitality batches is that staff turnover is constant, so a hotel that altered a uniform for one staff member in March often has to alter a fresh uniform for their replacement in June. We handle that by keeping a record of the matched standard applied in the original batch, so a replacement uniform is altered to the same standard without the client having to explain the fit again from scratch.
3. Schools and parents groups
Term-start school uniform programmes covering shirts, trousers, skirts, tunics, blazers, sports kits and ties. School uniform alterations start from KES 250 per piece on bulk orders of 50 or more, and we work directly with the school on one central pickup or with a parents group on a shared booking. See the school uniform alterations page for full detail on the family-level service.
School programmes peak twice a year, at the January and May term starts. Schools that book us for the January intake usually stay with us for the May and September intakes because the recording of sizes and standards carries forward. We keep a school file with the standard used on the previous batch and apply it to the next one without the school having to repeat the brief.
4. Security firms
Recurring boot repair, uniform alterations and uniform repairs for security firms with large teams on the ground. Security firm uniform and boot repair starts from KES 500 per pair or piece, covering uniform shirt and trouser alterations, jacket repairs, zips, name badge replacement, boot resoling, boot stitching and boot polishing. See the security firms boot repair page for full detail on the boot side.
Security firms are the single most consistent recurring corporate client. A firm with 200 guards typically rotates 60 to 80 pairs of boots through us every quarter for resoling and stitching, and the same firm sends through 20 to 40 uniform pieces per month for alterations as new guards join. The whole thing runs on a fixed quarterly schedule so the operations team knows exactly when the pickup is coming and can plan around it.
5. Clinics, hospitals and healthcare
Clinical uniforms, scrubs, lab coats and administrative uniforms altered in matched batches across departments. Clinical uniform alterations start from KES 400 per piece and cover the same matched-batch standard used for hotels and schools. Recurring contracts run on a monthly or quarterly schedule.
Healthcare uniforms have one specific requirement: the fit has to be loose enough to allow movement through a shift but tailored enough to look professional. We hold a specific matched standard for clinical uniforms that allows the correct amount of movement without the garment looking baggy, and the standard is confirmed with the client's matron or head of department before the first batch.
6. Retail, salons and gyms
Branded staff uniforms, aprons, polo shirts and activewear altered to a matched standard across the team. Retail and salon uniform alterations start from KES 400 per piece. Gyms and fitness studios often combine polo shirt alterations with staff name badge replacement on the same pickup.
Retail batches are often small — a shop with six staff, a salon with four, a gym with eight. Because the batches are small we run them on the same route as nearby residential pickups, so a retail client in Westlands gets the pickup free because the rider is already in the neighbourhood. There is no minimum batch size for free pickup even though corporate pricing only applies from 10 pieces.
7. Restaurants, cafés and food service
Chef whites, front-of-house uniforms, aprons, caps and management suits altered in matched batches. Food service uniform alterations start from KES 400 per piece. Most food service clients book a monthly or quarterly pickup so uniforms stay clean and in service across a rotating kitchen team.
Chef whites are the one garment where the matched standard has to account for movement and heat. A chef working a busy service needs a uniform that will not pull at the shoulder or restrict arm movement when reaching for pans, but still looks tailored on the pass. We set a specific chef white standard that allows full arm movement without the jacket looking oversized when the chef is standing still.
8. Corporate bespoke programmes for executives
Bespoke suit programmes for named executives measured on site and delivered on a scheduled programme. Corporate bespoke two-piece suits start from KES 22,000 per suit depending on the fabric. Programmes typically cover senior leadership teams of five to fifteen executives.
Corporate bespoke is the highest-ticket service we offer to companies. It is usually commissioned by a CEO or country manager for their direct reports or for a specific event — a listing ceremony, a leadership summit, a milestone anniversary. We run the whole programme on site at the client's office so no executive has to visit the workshop for measurement, and the fitting schedule is built around the event date. See the bespoke tailoring page for the individual-service detail.

Why Nairobi Businesses Choose FitFix
Corporate tailoring in Nairobi is not a difficult service to offer. What makes it difficult is doing it at scale without losing items, without inconsistent alterations and without turning the client's accounts department into a full-time adjudicator of staff complaints. Four things matter in a corporate account, and we handle all four.
Tagging discipline
Every piece is tagged per staff member at collection, and that tag stays with the piece until it is returned. A company sending 40 suits to a workshop and getting 40 suits back with no mix-ups is not automatic, it is the result of a tagging system that has to be followed every time. Our tagging has been running for years and is the single biggest reason corporate clients stay with us across multiple batches. The tag has the staff name, the piece number, the service booked and the batch reference, and it is written on a waterproof label that stays readable through the workshop process.
Matched standards
The alterations on every garment in a corporate batch are set to one standard before work begins, based on the client's brief. That means the staff look consistent as a team, not like a group of individuals in matching colours. Matched standards are especially important for hotel, school, clinic and retail uniforms where the team is seen together in public. The standard is documented in the batch file and applied to every subsequent batch from the same client, so a replacement uniform in six months comes back the same as the original batch.
Per-staff invoicing
When a batch of 40 suits is invoiced as one lump sum, the client's accounts department has no way to reconcile the invoice against the batch. Our invoices break the batch down per staff member, so reconciliation is a ten-minute job rather than a phone call to us. That is what makes an invoiced corporate account work from the client's end. The invoice lists the staff name or ID, the piece altered, the alteration done and the unit price, and totals the batch at the bottom on the same page.
Recurring schedules
A security firm with 200 staff does not want to book a pickup every time a pair of boots needs resoling. Recurring contracts run on a fixed monthly or quarterly schedule with the same rider, the same reception contact and the same invoice format every time. That is what makes a corporate account predictable from both sides, and it is why most of our corporate clients stay on annual contracts rather than booking batch by batch. A recurring schedule also means the client's operations team can plan around the pickup window because they know it will not move.
The Full Corporate Workflow, Step by Step
What actually happens from your first WhatsApp message to the final invoice. Every corporate client goes through the same eight steps.
- First contact on WhatsAppSend your company name, sector, approximate batch size and the type of work. We reply within the hour with a per-piece quote and a proposed schedule.
- Terms agreedIf you are a new corporate client, we confirm terms. First batch payable on delivery, invoiced terms from the second batch. If you need a signed confidentiality agreement or procurement form, we sign and return it within two working days.
- Staff list confirmedYou send the staff list with names or IDs, the pieces per person and any specific requirements. This is the single most important input and it is what makes the batch go smoothly.
- Scheduled pickupThe rider arrives at the agreed time, tags every piece per staff member, photographs each piece at collection and issues a batch receipt on the spot. The whole pickup takes as long as it takes to hand over the pieces.
- Bench assessmentAll pieces are assessed against the staff list and the matched standard. Any piece that needs a different treatment to the standard is flagged and confirmed with the client before work begins.
- Matched alterationEvery piece is altered to the matched standard, tagged throughout, and checked against the standard before it leaves the bench. Any piece that fails the internal check is reworked before it goes back into the batch.
- Batch returnThe completed batch is delivered back to the client address on one delivery, with a per-staff breakdown sheet and the invoice. The client checks the batch, reports any piece that falls short, and pays by M-Pesa, cash or bank transfer (or against the invoice if on account).
- Warranty periodEvery piece in the batch carries a 14-day workmanship warranty from the date of delivery. If any piece fails because of our work, we correct it at no cost on the next scheduled pickup or a dedicated pickup. See the warranty page for full detail.
What We Ask of the Client at Each Step
We do most of the work, but there are four things only the client can do. First, confirm the batch size and staff list before the pickup so the rider arrives with the right number of tags. Second, nominate a collection point with a named contact — reception desk or security desk or estate gate — so the pickup happens on time. Third, check the batch on delivery within 24 hours and report any piece that falls short on the same WhatsApp thread. Fourth, pay on delivery or confirm the invoice reference for accounts reconciliation. Everything else is on us.
Confidentiality and Data Handling
Corporate clients handle confidential information every working day, and they expect the same discretion from the businesses they work with. Four things matter when you send staff garments or leather goods to us, and we address each one directly.
No photographs of staff
Our riders photograph the garment, not the person handing it over. That photograph is used only to log the item against the client's batch and never appears in any public listing, marketing material or social media post. If a client requires it, we can also run a batch without photographs entirely, using only the batch receipt as the log. That option is usually taken by banks, law firms, government clients and diplomatic missions.
No sharing of client information externally
Batch details, staff names, contact information and the volume of work done for a client are never shared outside FitFix. We do not use client names in testimonials or case studies without written permission, and where a client is in a sensitive sector we do not mention the client at all. If a new client asks us who else we work with in a specific sector, we say no and explain why.
Confidentiality agreements where required
Banks, law firms, clinics, schools and public sector clients often need a signed confidentiality agreement before the first pickup. Send the agreement to hello@fitfixclothesalterations.co.ke or davidochieng2345678@gmail.com and David signs and returns within two working days. Where a client uses a procurement portal or a vendor onboarding process, we work through it in the same way. We are comfortable with the standard NDA templates used by Kenyan corporates and with the more detailed templates used by multinationals and diplomatic missions.
Workshop storage and separation
Corporate batches are stored separately from general client work while at the workshop. Batch pieces travel on their own rack, tagged as they arrived, so nothing gets mixed up with walk-in clients. Where a client's garments are particularly sensitive (uniforms with rank or insignia, for example, or executive suits for a specific event), the batch is kept in the separate client-goods cabinet. This is standard practice at FitFix and is not an extra charge.
Corporate Warranty
Every corporate batch is covered by a 14-day workmanship warranty from the date the batch is delivered back to the client. If a piece fails because of our work, we correct it at no cost, on the next scheduled pickup or on a dedicated pickup if needed. This is the same warranty that applies to individual FitFix clients and it is described in full on the warranty page.
What the corporate warranty covers
The warranty covers workmanship on every piece in the batch. A seam that opens, a stitch that fails, a zip that breaks away from the slider, a hem that unravels within the 14-day period is corrected at no cost. That applies whether it is a single suit, a hotel uniform batch, a school uniform programme, a security firm boot batch or a corporate bespoke suit. There is no separate corporate warranty process — it is the same policy, applied per piece.
What it does not cover
Normal wear and tear, wearer damage, damage from external causes such as chemicals or extreme heat, and any subsequent alteration by another workshop are not covered. Where a staff member has stained or scuffed a uniform within the 14-day period through normal wear on the job, that is wearer damage and the correction is quoted at a fair price. Where the failure is clearly our work, we correct it at no cost regardless of how the piece has been worn.
Reporting a corporate warranty claim
Any staff member, HR contact or operations manager can open a warranty claim. WhatsApp 0705 728 896 with the batch reference, the staff name or ID, and a photo of the specific failure. David assesses the claim and either confirms a correction at no cost or explains the position. Corrections are done on the next scheduled pickup or a dedicated pickup if the client needs it sooner. There is no minimum batch size for a warranty claim and no per-piece claim fee.
Extended warranty on recurring contracts
Where a corporate client is on a recurring monthly or quarterly pickup, the warranty on each piece runs from the date that piece was returned to the client, not from the date of the most recent pickup. That means a security firm whose guards received their boots in March still has 14 days of warranty on those boots from March, even if the next batch pickup is in June. This is the fairest way to run the warranty on a recurring contract, and it is the way we do it by default.
Recurring Contracts and Scheduled Work
Most of our corporate work runs on recurring contracts rather than one-off bookings. A recurring contract means the client's operations team does not have to think about tailoring; the pickup arrives on the scheduled day, the batch is processed, and the batch is returned on the scheduled day. Four patterns of recurring contract cover almost every corporate client we serve.
Monthly uniform top-up (hotels, clinics, retail)
A hotel with 120 staff typically replaces or alters five to ten pieces a month as staff join, leave or change positions. The monthly top-up contract collects on the first Tuesday of every month, processes the batch in three to five working days, and returns on the second Tuesday. The client's HR team knows exactly when the next pickup is coming and can plan new starter uniforms around it.
Quarterly boot resole (security firms, industrial)
A security firm with 200 guards typically rotates 60 to 80 pairs of boots through us every quarter for resoling, stitching and polish. The quarterly contract collects on a fixed week each quarter, resoles and repairs the batch, and returns the whole set in one delivery. The client's operations manager knows that their team's boots will be back in service on a specific date, which is critical because boots cannot be off for weeks at a time.
Term-start uniform programme (schools)
Schools run their uniform programme three times a year at the January, May and September term starts. The programme collects the batch one week before term starts, alters every piece to the standard, and returns the batch three days before term begins so parents and students have time to pick up their uniforms. This is the tightest schedule we run on any corporate contract and it is why schools need to book as early as possible.
Annual suit refresh (offices, banks, consultancies)
A bank or consultancy with 60 professional staff typically runs an annual suit refresh in Q1 of every year. Every staff member's suits are collected on one batch day, assessed against the same matched standard, and returned within a week. Over time we build a personal record for each staff member, so a suit altered in year one can be re-altered in year two if the staff member's measurements have changed, without the client having to send measurements again.
How to Open a Corporate Account
Opening a corporate account with FitFix takes one WhatsApp message and, where required, one signed document. There is no procurement fee, no account-opening fee and no minimum annual spend.
Step 1: First message
Send a WhatsApp message to 0705 728 896 with your company name, the type of work, the approximate batch size and the sector. If you have a procurement email or a specific contact person, add those too. David replies within the hour during opening hours with a per-piece quote, a proposed schedule and terms.
Step 2: Terms confirmation
If you are a new corporate client, the terms are simple. First batch payable on delivery by M-Pesa, cash or bank transfer. From the second batch onwards, invoiced terms of 14 days, 30 days or agreed corporate terms are available. There is no deposit at any stage. Where a client's procurement policy requires a purchase order or a formal quotation, we provide both on request.
Step 3: Paperwork where required
If the client's procurement process requires a signed confidentiality agreement, vendor onboarding form, tax compliance document or any other paperwork, send it to hello@fitfixclothesalterations.co.ke or davidochieng2345678@gmail.com. David signs and returns within two working days. If the client uses a procurement portal or a supplier registration system, we work through it in the same way.
Step 4: First pickup scheduled
Once terms are agreed, we schedule the first pickup on a date and time that works for the client. The rider arrives at the agreed time, tags every piece per staff member, and issues a batch receipt. The first pickup is also the reference point for the matched standard — we confirm the standard with the client's contact person on the same call or the same WhatsApp thread before work begins.
Step 5: Ongoing batches
From the first batch onwards, the account is live. Whether the client books one-off batches or moves to a recurring contract, the same rider, the same per-piece pricing, the same invoice format and the same matched standard apply. The account runs on the client's schedule, not on ours.

New corporate clients are asked to pay for the first batch on delivery and move to invoiced terms from the second batch onwards.
How do you handle bulk suit alterations for a Nairobi office?
We schedule one collection from your office reception for the full batch, tag each suit with a staff name or ID, complete all alterations to a matched standard and return them together on one delivery. Bulk suit alterations start from KES 1,500 per suit depending on the work involved, and typical batches of 20 to 60 suits are completed within five to seven working days.
Can you alter hotel and hospitality uniforms in Nairobi?
Yes. Hotel and hospitality uniform alterations start from KES 400 per piece and cover front desk uniforms, housekeeping uniforms, kitchen and chef uniforms, restaurant and bar uniforms, spa uniforms and management suits. Work is done in matched batches so all uniforms across a shift fit the same way and look consistent with each other.

Yes. Security firm uniform and boot repair starts from KES 500 per pair or piece, covering uniform shirt and trouser alterations, jacket repairs, zips, buttons, name badge replacement, boot resoling, boot stitching and boot polishing. Many security firms book a recurring monthly or quarterly pickup so boots and uniforms stay in service across the whole team.
How do you handle confidential corporate garments in Nairobi?
Every garment is tagged at collection with the staff name or ID provided by the client, and that tag stays with the garment through the workshop so nothing is mixed up. We do not photograph staff, we do not share client information externally and we can sign a confidentiality agreement where a client requires it. Corporate batches are stored separately from general client work while at the workshop.
What is the minimum batch size for corporate pricing in Nairobi?
Corporate pricing applies from 10 pieces on a single batch for most services and from 50 pieces on school uniform programmes. Below 10 pieces the standard retail prices apply, which are still collected free across Nairobi with no minimum order value. Large batches over 100 pieces are quoted on a case-by-case basis.
How long do corporate alteration batches take in Nairobi?
Small batches of 10 to 20 pieces take three to five working days. Medium batches of 20 to 60 pieces take five to seven working days. Large batches of 60 to 200 pieces take seven to twelve working days. Recurring contracts on monthly or quarterly pickups run on a fixed schedule agreed with the client.
How do I set up a corporate account with FitFix in Nairobi?
Send a WhatsApp message to 0705 728 896 with your company name, the type of work and the approximate batch size. We reply with a per-piece quote, a proposed schedule and terms. If you are happy with the terms, we schedule the first collection and the account is opened from the first batch onwards.
